King Green (RDGLDGRN)

King Green is a genre-defying rapper, songwriter, and cultural critic best known as the frontman of the band RDGLDGRN. With a sound that fuses DMV bounce, indie rock energy, and lyrical precision, Green has collaborated with icons like Pharrell Williams, Eminem (Caterpillar), Royce da 5’9”, and Method Man (Opera). His latest solo release, One Million Dollars, is featured in the Netflix drama series Ransom Canyon.

A prolific voice in sync licensing, Green’s music has appeared in The Sims 4, Madden 25, Power Book II, and more—blending streetwise storytelling with global appeal. Across platforms, he’s built a loyal following of over 400,000 fans, drawn to both his music and his mind.

Through his podcast Rap Latte, he examines hip-hop’s place in media, politics, and culture with razor-sharp commentary. His upcoming solo project, How To Rap In America, is an album-length essay—part exposé, part satire—charting the collision of artistry and industry in modern rap.
