Ringpop!

Ringpop! is nothing short of a sugar rush. The five-piece band of best friends are guaranteed to make your day. Formed in 2020, the band came together with a high-energy and fun-focused take on the world of pop-punk and emo. They strive to make music as sweet as their band name, creating their own genre they endearingly refer to as “bubble-punk.” Their songs are refreshing, relatable, and as the band states, a “break from the melodrama” so often associated with the pop-punk and emo genres.

All five band members graduated from the prestigious Berklee College of Music where they each received competitive scholarships, proving just how talented these young musicians are. In their time at Berklee, Ringpop! studied under David Marvuglio (Ice Nine Kills, the Smyrk, Gary Karr, Bill Pierce, and the Narrative). Ringpop!’s EP Nobody Cares and debut record, Friend Crush (both mastered by Brett Romnes of Hot Mulligan and Mom Jeans) sonically bookmark the band’s bubble-punk sound. “I set out to capture the feeling of growing up, falling in love, and dealing with pain in the most lighthearted, yet honest way,” reflects Jake Michne. It contains 22 years of musical influence from Hot Mulligan to Blink-182, shamelessly packed into 35 minutes. Fulfilling their childhood dreams and honoring their roots, the band is beyond thrilled to be taking the stage at Vans Warped Tour in Washington, D.C., and Long Beach, CA in the summer of 2025.
