Hue

HUE is a Washington, DC–based rock band born from the DMV scene, blending go-go, pop-punk, djent, R&B, and trap into a bold, genre-defying sound. Crushing riffs, dynamic vocals, and groove-driven drums collide to form a sharp, modern identity.
Formed by longtime collaborators Alireza and Halluciniinja, alongside drummer AreJay (former RDGLDGRN touring member), HUE has built its name through powerful live performances. They’ve opened for Three 6 Mafia in DC and Erykah Badu in New York, performed at Afropunk Brooklyn (captured by Rolling Stone), NAMM, and toured with letlive.
Influenced by acts like Animals As Leaders, Periphery, Bad Brains, and Turnstile, HUE channels the DMV’s go-go roots into heavy, forward-thinking music.
With their debut single “Home” out and a sold-out show at the Go-Go Museum, HUE is gearing up to release their upcoming EP Highly Under Estimated—a project that captures their raw energy and boundary-pushing sound.
