Shauna Dead Cokeland

Shauna Dean Cokeland is a folk punk artist with lyricism beyond her years. From a small beach town in Maryland, her infectious brand of 2000’s nostalgia and a teenage passion for both emo and country music has fostered a sense of community among Gen Z that’s hard to put into words.
After getting grounded in 2021, SDC started to post stripped-down, raw acoustic demos from her bedroom. Songs about her life — school, the small-town party/drug scene, internet-induced obsessions with personal fame, and about young love, gender, sex and growing up online, and growing up in the US empire. Not intending to be relatable, SDC put a lens up to some of the colorful mold that grows under the isolated, floundering modern suburb.
Now SDC is 22, has a full-length mixtape CD of those songs called “Cokeland County,” and has toured all over the US and Canada and made lots of great musician friends. She has new songs and a big blue van, and she’s very excited to play to you at Warped Tour.
